Recruit Central is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician for a permanent position with an automotive company based in Sussex.

Job Description:

• Using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
• Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
• Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices to self and others.
• Complete relevant service documentation (job sheets, PDI’s, Service Reports) in line with brand standards, warranty and site requirements.
• Complete all vehicle health checks and CitNOW video in timely manner.
• Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are always maintained including the use of all tools.

Must have:

• Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle maintenance 
• Proven Diagnostic experience (must be strong experience)
• A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car in our workshop the highest standard of care.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly.
• A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best
• Providing a premium experience at every step of a customer’s journey with us, working with the Service Advisors to communicate technical information and updates on progress

Hours: 42.5 per week. Mon-Fri, 8am – 5pm  1 in 4 Saturdays (paid as overtime).

Basic: £38934 - £43260, dependant on brand, experience and any additional specialisms.

OTE: £56,394 - £60,720
