An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified LD Registered Manager to lead a new project overseeing 17 apartments (all within the same building). Ideal for a seasoned registered manager specializing in learning disabilities, this role involves managing a team of over 50 staff, divided into three specialized areas, with the Registered Manager overseeing the entire building.

Located in the historic city of Durham, known for its stunning cathedral and university, the home benefits from excellent transport links, including a railway station on the East Coast Main Line and close proximity to the A1(M) motorway.

Home Layout:
•6 apartments for 28-day assessments (ages 8-17, not under Ofsted registration)
•6 apartments with 1+2 bed units for respite short stays (LD, ages 0-17)
•5 apartments for ages 16+

Requirements:
•Minimum of 4 years of recent experience as an LD children's home manager
•Level 3 Residential Child Care Diploma (or commitment to achieving Level 5)
•Proven Good/Outstanding track record with Ofsted
