Production Assistant for Pedestrian Crossing Dept.
Fisher & Co are currently looking for an production/assembly assistant to join the team. Applicant must be good at communicating especially on the phone with suppliers & customers alike, able to manage workloads to deadlines, thrives on completing new day-to-day activities and has good IT skills. Bonus skills would include any electrical experience even if its minimal but this isn't essential as full on site training available.
Production Assistant - Applicant to have:
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Have good IT skills for data entry (mostly serial & stock numbers)
· Manage workloads to deadlines
· Competence using hand tools (full training will be provided with tool box talks)
· Good team fit
· Reliable mode of transport
Production Assistant - Duties will include but are not limited to:
· Assembly
· Wiring
· Workshop assistance
· Fly press & CNC work (full training given)
· Packing for despatch
· Goods In/ Stock Checks
· General support to other team members & Office team with answering calls during busy periods.
· Heavy lifting - The job can be quite physical at times.
Full job description available on request. Overtime and holiday cover may be required. Hours flexible for the right candidate- minimum 16hrs. Your starting hourly rate will be from minimum wage rising based on experience and qualifications.
