As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead, direct, and coordinate the daily management of large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will provide strategic leadership to your project team and play a crucial role in developing future construction professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to take on challenging projects in Canada, with strong support for relocation and career growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the construction phase, working closely with the Project Superintendent and project team to ensure objectives are met.
  • Provide safety leadership by implementing the company’s Safety Program and monitoring the safety performance of all team members and subcontractors.
  • Manage the project budget, control costs, and ensure timely payment of accounts receivable and payable.
  • Negotiate and administer prime contracts and subcontracts, including awarding and evaluating subcontractor performance.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Provide regular reporting on financial performance and overall project progress to senior management.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in institutional and commercial construction, with direct project management experience on projects exceeding $100 million.
  • Completed education in a construction-related discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills with a focus on team development.
  • Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project; experience with Viewpoint Project Management system is an asset.
