Location: N18 3BH, Edmonton Green, Greater London 

ODG Plant Hire Ltd (Part of the Galldris Group Group) have an exciting opportunity for Plant and Transport Service Co-ordinator. ODG Plant Hire are currently based in Edmonton North London but will be moving to a new yard in Potters Bar Hertfordshire quite soon.

The Plant and Transport Service Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles, plant and equipment are maintained, serviced, repaired and are in good working order by liaising with drivers, operators and suppliers.

Vehicles relate to cars and vans (HGVs are looked after by the transport department).

Duties And Responsibilities

• Liaising with site personnel regarding servicing and repair of equipment in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate records of all vehicles, plant & equipment, ensuring all necessary maintenance / repairs are carried out at the earliest possible convenience with minimum disruption to site operations
• Source any spare parts that are required
• To provide accurate information to support and enable the payment of invoices
• To contribute to the continuous improvement in the safety, quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the services delivered

Skills And Experience

• Coordination of vehicles, plant, or both
• Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
• Basic understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
• Excellent Admin skills and attention to detail
• Confident when liaising internally and externally
• Familiar with UK geography

Ideally, we would like someone who has some plant background, so someone with a bit of enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck would be ideal.

This is an opportunity for someone to make this function their own and ODG are open to training someone for the role.
