Background

A well-established GP Training Practice in North Bristol, rated 'Good' by the CQC, is seeking to hire a permanent Practice Manager. The practice places a strong emphasis on staff well-being and is committed to maintaining a positive work-life balance and a supportive working environment. As Practice Manager, you will work alongside a collaborative team of partners who trust you to manage operations autonomously.

While the surgery is ideally looking for a full-time Manager, there may be some flexibility for candidates with strong Primary Care Management experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading a team, along with solid financial and HR management skills. You should be able to remain calm under pressure and focus on the bigger picture.

The practice employs approximately 45 staff members, including 4 partners, 5 salaried GPs, 2 nurse practitioners, 3 practice nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals. Supported by a robust administrative team, the practice uses EMIS Web and serves a patient list of around 11,500. They also take pride in having a low staff turnover.

Salary

• £50k - £55k FTE (Could be room for negotiation depending on experience)
