About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Land Planner / Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring land suitable for residential development, as well as navigating the planning process to secure necessary approvals. You will play a key role in expanding our portfolio of projects and ensuring the successful delivery of new housing developments in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential land opportunities for residential development through market research, networking, and site visits.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential land acquisitions.
• Negotiate land purchases, managing the acquisition process from initial offer to completion.
• Liaise with local authorities, planning consultants, and other stakeholders to secure planning permission and resolve any planning-related issues.
• Work closely with the design and construction teams to ensure development plans align with planning regulations and company standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local planning policies, housing market trends, and competitor activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, and local authorities to identify future opportunities.

About You:

• Proven experience in land acquisition, planning, or development within the residential housing sector.
• Strong understanding of the planning process and relevant legislation.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the Newquay and surrounding area’s property market is an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence required.
