Mechanical Fitter - Newton Aycliffe
Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter with expertise in overhauling pumps and valves? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a team in Newton Aycliffe.
Position: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Newton Aycliffe
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay: £17 PAYE or £22 CIS
Key Responsibilities:
- Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of pumps and valves
- Fault-finding, troubleshooting, and testing equipment
- Working from technical drawings and manuals
- Ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience overhauling pumps and valves
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical fitting are preferred
