Paying  up to £60k plus benefits and a hybrid working environment, we are looking for a Part Qualified/ Qualified Finance Business Partner  on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract – who wants to develop and grow with our not for-profit client based in Salford. This role is designed to elevate financial acumen and be part of the organisation's ongoing transformative journey. 

THE ROLE

The Finance Business Partner role provides proactive and responsive financial and commercial support to the finance team and wider organisation. You will be proactive support for budget holders and stakeholders, offering expert advice and insightful analysis to drive informed decision-making.

Key Accountabilities:

• A business partner to the asset management team, able to build relationships whilst increasing financial awareness
• Provide financial analysis and reconciliation of funds received by funders.
• Be able to reconcile between various operational and financial systems, successfully following the process journey of transactions
• Work closely with colleagues and the wider business to build and maintain cash reporting models.
• Assistance in the delivery of the monthly management accounts, providing ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
• Support the Project Accounting Manager in the preparation of the company’s financial regulatory returns.
• Providing support through the BRIXX financial planning system.
• Support with the production of service charge accounts, and work with the Financial Reporting Manager on the creation of departmental variance analysis reports.

THE PERSON

• You must be qualified or  actively working towards a financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA)
• Previous work experience in a relevant finance role
• Business Partner role experience supporting Budget Holders
• High degree of analytical and problem-solving experience
• Strong Excel skills, including formula knowledge and handling large volumes of data
• Organised, deadline drive, and a great communicator
