We are currently recruiting on the behalf of a specialist BMS, Heating and Electrical business who work across London and the South East.

Description:

They are seeking an experienced Commercial Boiler Engineer to join their Commercial Service Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and performing planned preventative maintenance on commercial boilers throughout London and the South of England. In this role, you will be expected to diagnose faults and issues, executing repairs to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will hold the skills and qualifications below:

• Recognized qualification in the boiler industry (e.g., City and Guilds, NVQ)
• Current ACS commercial elements certification
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Full UK driving license
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills

Main Requirements:

• Work independently or as part of a team to diagnose and repair faults/issues.
• Assess faults and select appropriate tools and materials for repairs, including using saws and pipe cutters as needed.
• Consistently adhere to the highest health and safety (H&S) standards, complying with company procedures.
• Document faults and provide detailed reports summarizing the actions taken.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify and replace worn or faulty components.
• Upgrade and repair heating and hot water services as required.
• Replace or repair pipework, thermostats, isolation valves, and mechanical plant equipment when necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service, aiming to exceed expectations and deliver ‘The Perfect Repair’.
• Maintain and update site logs, both written and electronic.
• Respond to callouts related to heating and hot water systems, aiming for a high first-time fix rate.
• Participate in emergency callouts based on a rotating schedule.

Package:

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 40hr week
• Company Vehicle
• Basic salary paying between £38,000-£45,000.
