Job Title: Streetworks Permit Coordinator

Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum
 
My client are a civil engineering contractor extensively involved in highways works within the Manchester area. They are actively seeking a Streetworks Permit Coordinator to join the team. You will be required to assess streetworks permits, licenses and traffic regulation orders, and coordinate works carried out by statutory undertakers across the area.
 
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in their office in Manchester.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Streetworks Permit Coordinator:
·Assessing incoming streetworks permits, licenses and traffic regulation / management orders
·Coordinating works
·Agreeing and overseeing the creation of traffic management plans
·Utilise required software
Key Requirements of the Streetworks Permit Coordinator:
·Previous experience within a permitting position within the highways sector
·Extensive knowledge of NRSWA 1991 and TMA 2004
·Able to commute to the Manchester area
·The ability to work independently and prioritise work in a coordinated manner
·Excellent numeracy, IT and communication skills
·Experience working with external stakeholders
Package of the Streetworks Permit Coordinator:
·Salary of £28,000-£32,000 depending on experience
