We are currently looking to recruit a number of Skilled Operatives into their team, please find details below of one of the exciting opportunities available.

The Role: Drilling Operative

Salary: £11.98 p/h

Contract: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6.15am – 2.15pm / 2.15pm – 10.15pm – rotating weekly

The Drilling Operative will report into the Production Team Leader on the shop floor with a focus on cutting drainage holes into composite materials, whilst ensuring output targets are consistently achieved or excelled.

The Drilling Operative role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and relishes being hands-on. You must have experience operating power tools and have a keen eye for detail.

Duties and responsibilities of the Drilling Operative include:

• To cut drainage holes into composite materials using power tools
• Quality checking skins for defects or damages and reporting any defects
• Using deburring equipment to remove small defects and ensure a smooth finish
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality
• Monitor and control manufacturing and operational processes in the designated zone
• Maintain accurate records of equipment operation and production activities
• Complete necessary paperwork or digital documentation where required
• Adhere to health and safety protocols
