Our client, an established, award-winning, professional multi-disciplinary engineering practice with a passion for excellence, innovation, and environmental sustainability is currently looking to hire an Associate Director - Building Services (Mechanical). The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper technical and financial management of the business, its clients and employees, through the effective integration and management within the existing MEP building services engineering team.
 
The Associate Director - Building Services (Mechanical) will:
  • Manage the workload of Graduates, Project Engineers, Senior Engineers and Administration colleagues across office(s) or teams, coordinating the use of all team workload and resource input.
  • Ensure problem solving and innovation oversight across office(s) or teams.
  • Prepare and manage fee quotations and scope of work by project.
  • Create and pursue additional client opportunities.
  • Undertake active modelling, management and teaching of engineering competence.
 
 
The Associate Director - Building Services (Mechanical) will have:
  • A high level of computer literacy a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Autodesk Revit MEP, National Building Specification (NBS), Cymap and ideally EDSL Tas and/or IES VE.
  • Ability to operate as part of a wider project team and to represent the company with confidence and gravitas to a variety of clients and outside organisations is expected.
  • Ten [10] to Fifteen [15] years ‘hands on’ design and management experience.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative, as part of a dynamic team with a high attention to detail.
