Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events Assistant to support the Senior Events Lead in delivering high-quality, engaging events. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive first impression at both on-campus and off-campus events, providing a superior customer experience. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, utilising strong communication, planning, and promotion skills. This role will be primarily based at Lancashire Adult Learning, with travel required across sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Senior Events Lead to ensure consistent branding and customer experience across all events.
  • Developing and executing operational plans for events, considering objectives, target audience, and outcomes.
  • Managing event planning and setup, including floor plans and cross-departmental coordination.
  • Assisting with pre-event planning, on-the-day management, and post-event evaluation.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Supporting event promotion through marketing, logistics, and administration.
  • Assisting in managing event budgets to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery.
  • Upholding best practices, policies, and procedures in event management.
  • Ensuring a focus on exceptional customer experience throughout event planning and delivery.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of event processes.
