Our client in Hook is looking for a Trainee Design Engineer to join their team - no experience required, full training will be provided. The only thing you need to bring are enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a keen interest in Design, Engineering or Manufacturing!

As the Junior Design Engineer you will benefit from:
• An entry-level basic salary of 25-26k (plus a highly competitive commission scheme depending on personal performance)
• Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30 am - 5.30pm, Friday 8.30 - 5.00 pm (45 minutes lunch break)
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (3 days reserved for the Christmas shutdown), increasing by 1 day per 5 years of service
• Company pension (auto-enrolment immediately after joining)

As the Junior Design Engineer, you will be:
• Liaising with clients and internal departments on design briefs and projects both via email, phone and in person
• Designing and monitoring technical customer designs with Revitt, AutoCAD and their internal design software
• Taking incoming quotes and enquiries from customers
• Working closely with the manufacturing team on site
• Learning and understanding products, processes and production.
