About the Role: As the Operations Director, you will be at the helm of our operations in Tilbury, overseeing large-scale civil and groundworks projects. With a significant number of positions reporting directly to you, your leadership will be crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Oversee and manage all operational aspects of large civil and groundworks projects, ensuring the efficient and effective performance of all teams.
• Strategic Management: Develop and implement operational strategies that drive business growth and improve project delivery.
• Team Oversight: Lead a large team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure high performance and operational excellence.
• Budget & Resource Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost control and project profitability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least 10 years of experience as an Operations Director or Commercial Director in the civils and groundworks industry.
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects with multiple direct reports.
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Tilbury.
