An experienced Production Planner is sought for a dynamic role encompassing end-to-end planning in a manufacturing setting. From approving routings to scheduling shop orders and ensuring MRP accuracy, this position collaborates closely with production and purchasing. If you possess MRP expertise and a 'can-do' attitude, we invite you to contribute to our success.

Suitable for:
This role is ideal for individuals with strong MRP knowledge, planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment, and familiarity with precision engineering and assembly operations. Candidates with ERP system proficiency, particularly in IFS, are encouraged to apply. Adept problem-solvers with Lean and/or Six Sigma exposure will find this opportunity advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ERP system support, ensuring functional and transactional excellence.
  • Conduct Material Availability Planning and control shop orders.
  • Manage production documents, revisions, and MRP planning data.
  • Execute production reporting and respond to queries via phone, email, and Teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong ERP & MRP systems experience
  • Proven Planning & Scheduling experience
  • IT literate using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with Manufacturing.

Location: Accrington
Perm: circa £32k - £37k (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week. Flexible hours, and early finish Friday.
