Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Temp Ongoing, Various Hours Available

Salary: £12 per hour

Our client, a prestigious education institution, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support their faculty in delivering top-quality education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience by providing academic support, facilitating group discussions, and assisting the students to enhance their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of course materials and facilitate classroom discussions.
• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring to students needing additional support.
• Support the preparation of teaching materials,
• Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and provide feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Offer administrative support to faculty, such as organising course materials and managing student inquiries.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a teaching or tutoring role, ideally within higher education.
• In-date Enhanced DBS (if out of date or new one needed for any reason, you must be happy to apply for one).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

• Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital teaching tools.
• An understanding of diverse learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
