This Engineering Team Leader job will involve:

• Leading, coaching, and supervising a small team semi-skilled team of Technicians / Fitters / Operatives working in an engineering production assembly line environment.
• The team are disassembling, assembling, and testing automotive gearboxes and engines.
• You will ensure the engineering unit / cell / production line you are responsible for is meeting its objectives and providing a high-quality product to customers specifications and schedules.
• The business has recently moved to a new facility and has a strong focus on continuous improvement so will get the opportunity to facilitate business improvement projects.

This Engineering Team Leader job will suit:

• Previous experience of leading and supervising a team within an engineering / manufacturing / workshop environment – you will be supervising semi-skilled Technicians / Operatives / Fitters stripping down or assembling automotive engines and gearboxes.
• Team size will be 4-8 people depending upon business requirement.
• We are look for a Team Leader or Cell Leader who can support, coach and train existing and new team members in addition to leading and managing.
• The business works to accredited industry quality standards and employs modern and efficient ways of working so you will get the opportunity to be involved in and implement practical business improvements.
