Exciting Opportunity: Learning Support Assistant for Year 2 Student with ASD in Biggin Hill

Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Biggin Hill
Role: 1:1 Support for Year 2 Student with ASD
Day Rate: £85 - £95
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide dedicated one-to-one support to a Year 2 student with ASD, helping them navigate their learning journey and achieve their full potential. Your role will involve working closely with the student to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer personalized support to the student, helping them engage with their lessons and activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to support the student's social and academic development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to the student's education.
- Monitor and report on the student's progress, adapting support strategies as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with ASD or other additional needs is highly desirable.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
