 About the role:

The consultancy specialises in residential civil design and drainage design with Microdrainage WinDES. They handle flood risk assessments, planning applications, and applications for fire safety and disability access certificates. They also manage Snag Lists, Topographical Surveys, Road and Drainage Design, and oversee projects from concept to hand-over, providing project management, contract administration, tender management, and on-site supervision.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required, with advanced degrees or certifications being a plus.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil design, including expertise in infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX, or Microdrainage.
  • Strong analytical skills with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle projects from start to finish, including coordinating tasks, managing budgets, and setting schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and deliver full design for major developments, incorporating creativity and innovation.
  • Manage project aspects including contract administration, tender process, and on-site construction supervision.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
