FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a vacancy for Designer . You will be working on a nuclear site involved in survey work, based in Cumbria. Experience of working within a design department is an advantage or similar. Further Training in CAD design is available. This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with salary depending on experience, up to £39,000 plus bonus, pension, critical illness, flexible working and more. Regular overtime available.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in implementation, and delivery of design support packages
- Design output/delivery meeting client specifications for successful manufacture, installations and commissioning
- Design of plant and equipment
Skills and Experience required for the Designer role:
- Degree qualified – in a relevant discipline or ONC/TEC Diploma with considerable relevant experience in a regulated industry
- Knowledge of design tools, techniques such as HAZOP’s and calculation packages
- Competent in the production of standard deliverables including basic design calculations
- CDM regulations
- Incorporate engineer IENG or working towards or keen to work towards
- Experience of working within a regulated work environment and quality assured system
