Social Worker | Child Protection and Court Team | Plymouth City Council
We are looking for a Social Worker with current Social Work experience to join a busy front door team. This team is a mixture of Child Protection and Court. The Social Worker will based in the Plymouth office, with the potential for hybrid working.
Duties:
- Preparing cases for court and give evidence on behalf of the Authority
- Participating in the service duty system as and when required
- Assessing needs and risks through the completion of recognised assessment tools and child protection processes and investigations.
- Maintaining timely and accurate case recording in line with practice standards, managing information in line with the Council’s policies, procedures and guidance on data protection
- Where appropriate, delivering specialist interventions, underpinned by safeguarding and
- Participating positively in supervision, practice, team and organisational development
To be considered, you must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in Social Work, Social Work Degree or equivalent) as well as at least 3 years post qualified experience working as a Qualified Social Worker within a similar team.
