We are currently working on behalf of a national business within the water treatment sector who have been leaders in the industries since their inception over 100 years ago. With customer service and technical knowledge being at the core of everything they do, they truly stand above the competition when it comes to uninterrupted high-level service.

They are now currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and assist with the delivery of capital projects across the UK. The role will be based out of their Birmingham based site with regular travel through the region managing a wide variety of projects. The role will suit a project manager who enjoys having a variety of work to focus on and working to tight deadlines.

The role of a Project Manager:
  • Responsible for the delivery of projects within the portfolio ranging ensuring tight control of programme, delivery, quality and commercial deadlines.
  • Work with the Project, Commercial, Design, & Operations team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Resource planning for all ongoing works to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
  • Plan resource effectively and ensure internal processes are followed including monthly programme & forecast updates.
  • Follow tender processes and supplier evaluations.
  • Be the key face for the business with clients throughout the project delivery.
  
 
Qualifications & experience required to be successful in this Project Manager role:

  • Extensive project management experience within the manufacturing and engineering sector.
  • Experience within the water treatment / utilities industry and have a technical understanding of the M&E requirements within the sector.
  • Hold qualifications in Project Management (APM, Prince 2 etc).
  • Have experience of problem solving, risk management, complaint management & implementation of countermeasures.

  • A basic salary of up to £65,000
  • Company Car / Car Allowance
  • 8.30am to 17.00pm working Monday – Friday (Hybrid option available)
  • Pension contributions matched by the business.
  • 25 days holiday (plus English bank holidays).
