Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Bradford.
 
About the Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take charge of designing automated assembly machines and factory production equipment. You will work closely with customers to analyze requirements, create detailed specifications, and oversee the mechanical design process from concept to delivery. The role will also involve troubleshooting, selecting commercial components, and collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design automated machinery and production equipment tailored to customer needs.
• Lead the mechanical design process, ensuring projects meet specifications and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot issues and select appropriate commercial components.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally with production machinery or automation equipment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage the design process from start to finish.

What's On Offer:

• Competitive salary: £50,000 - £52,000 per annum, based on experience.
