FURNITURE PROJECT MANAGER

RESPONSIBLE FOR: n/a
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: Furniture Project Management

To manage and coordinate all furniture installations
To oversee the production of delivery schedules ensuring all acknowledgements are checked and correct
To work closely with the Estimators and Furniture Consultant to ensure our clients projects are fully coordinated and delivered smoothly

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

To manage the furniture installations working along side the Installation Manager and his team
To check all order acknowledgements, match the purchase orders
To highlight any discrepancies between the plan and the acknowledgements
To liaise with the Construction Team to ensure that all programme information is correct & coordinate LL power supply
To check acknowledgements against all finish’s schedules
To attend Project Meetings on site to ensure we address furniture queries
To check site access and low level drawings show the furniture correctly
To ensure delivery schedules are created and distributed to the Construction and Client Teams

To ensure that the Installation Calendar has all of the work listed correctly 
To ensure that all snagging is reported to the manufacturer in time and that the client is
updated with weekly snagging lists to track
To ensure that all snagging is completed as quickly as possible and that the Furniture
Consultants are kept up to speed with progress
To provide weekly updates to the team on the status of all projects sin contract
To provide Consultants with completion of snagging dates for final invoices to be issued
To comply with all company policies and procedures that relate to anti-bribery, quality,
environment and health and safety.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:

Essential:
Take an active and positive role within the team to help support all the needs of the sales team
Become Technically informed on all furniture products offered within the portfolio
Develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure that the best service is provided
Work closely with construction to maintain and strength communication
Have amazing attention to detail and a whatever it takes flexible attitude to workload
