Join Our Team on Major Construction Project in Bradford

NCS is currently seeking experienced Groundworkers to join our team for various construction and infrastructure projects. If you have a strong background in groundwork, including drainage, concreting, and general site preparation, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview:

As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for carrying out essential groundwork tasks to support the successful delivery of construction projects. Your primary duties will include:

• Preparing and clearing construction sites for building work, including digging trenches, drainage, and foundations
• Installing drainage systems, curbs, and manholes
• Concreting, including formwork, laying, and finishing
• Operating heavy machinery such as mini excavators (if certified)
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and site protocols
• Supporting other tradesmen on-site and assisting with various tasks as required

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid CSCS / CPCS / NPORS
• Previous experience working as a groundworker on construction sites
• Knowledge of drainage, foundations, concreting, and other groundworks-related tasks
• Ability to operate relevant machinery and equipment (certifications such as CPCS or NPORS are a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from site supervisors

Job Details:  Bradford

• Contract: Full-time, with hours varying by project needs
• Rate: Competitive, negotiable based on experience
