The Role & Responsibilities

• Establishing and developing the design of engineering solutions and systems
• Preparing concept plans and briefs for projects
• Producing reports in support of the design concepts with regard to compliance with standards and best practice
• Liaising with others in the design team and CAD team.
• Inspecting installations and reviewing progress quality and performance tests
• Supporting the design team and client with regard to operation and ongoing maintenance
• Preparing detail design project specifications
• Participating in client and project meetings
• Reporting to clients on progress and project related items
• Carry out or review electrical design calculations

Skills Required

• You should be educated to degree level in electrical engineering, building services engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years UK industry experience.
• Project experience preferred within several market sectors.
• To be competent in the use of industry design and drawing software.
