ENGINEERING SURVEYOR

POSITION : Engineering Surveyor

LOCATION : Commutable from Hull , Beverley , Scunthorpe , Driffield , Goole, Market Weighton , Bridlington, Brough

SALARY AND BENEFITS : From £40k (+ overtime available)  pension, 25 days holiday + BH's

THE ROLE :  Our client is an established and well respected specialist contractor that works across multiple sectors including - Civil Engineering , Renewable and Marine.  They are looking for an Engineering Surveyor to join their friendly team.  The role will be a mixture office based CAD work which will involve the production of CAD drawings following inspections/surveys and also the chance to take part in surveys on various sites on behalf of their clients.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :

• Previous experience of using CAD in the workplace
• The ability to “think” in 3D, visualise scenarios and produce drawings when information from site is poor / incomplete.
• Knowledge of survey equipment and technologies
• A sound knowledge of H&S and ability to incorporate safety procedures and risk management into working methods.
• A full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients , colleagues and other stakeholders
• A friendly and outgoing personality 
• The ability to work collaboratively and forge close working relationships to achieve a high level of teamwork in the workplace
• A level of physical fitness that allows you to carry out surveys, occasionally in abnormal conditions

A degree in a relevant subject (Civil Engineering, Surveying, Architectural, Construction ) would be beneficial but is not essential.
