CNC Programmer

Location: Manchester

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 Dependant on experience

Talented people are partnered with a Specialist Bespoke Furniture provider to recruit a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• To programme, set and operate Woodworking CNC Machinery
• Play an integral role within both the factory and the broader manufacturing team
• Convert technical drawings from bespoke designs into CNC machine programs
• Collaborate with designers, drafts people, and project managers to ensure production meets client requirements and deadlines

Skills / Requirements:

• Experience in the custom furniture and cabinet making industry
• Familiarity with Magi-cut, SWOOD, WOODWOP, Alpha Cam, CAD-CAM programming preferred (training provided if needed)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Systematic and precise with strong project timeline management
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to enhance processes and efficiency
• Commitment to quality workmanship and striving for perfection

Key details:

39 Hours per week

Mon - Thurs 7:30 – 16:30

Friday – 7:30 – 12:30

Overtime is 1.5x hourly rate, from 12pm Saturday and all day Sunday it is 2x the hourly rate.
