Title: HR Administrator (6 month temp)

Salary: £15 per hour 

Description:

Our client based in Chester that specialise in motor vehicles are looking for a Senior Office Administrator to join the team. 

The Senior Office Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office facilities handling a variety of duties to include building maintenance and facilities, health and safety and assisting with HR duties such as company benefits, recruitment, arranging events and onboarding of staff.

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5:00pm (can be flexible)

Location: Chester Business Park

Salary: £15 per hour (ongoing temporary contract)

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate new contracts with suppliers on behalf of company.
  • Plan maintenance and upkeep of the premises and equipment when required.
  • Set up ID badges and maintain access control system.
  • Procurement of stationery, equipment and office sundries
  • Support HR with recruitment, on-boarding, coordinate inductions and any ad-hoc requests.
  • Prepare meeting rooms
  • Manage employee benefit schemes
  • Health and Safety representative for office and sites, ensuring all safety checks, services, first aiders and fire marshals are up to date, including H&S board.
  • Manage small fleet of company cars, ensuring MOT’s and services are up to date.
  • Help in planning company events.
  • Be the face of the company to customers on site.

Must haves:

  • Previous experience in a Business Administrative/ Administrative role or similar.
  • Ideally some knowledge of HR Administration and Workday or similar HR systems.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Be able to work independently and be very self-motivated.
  • Must have excellent IT skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Be proactive and collaborative
  • IOSH qualification (desirable, not essential)
