Assembly and Test Fitter
Location: Cramlington
Rate of Pay: Up to £13.70 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
What you will be doing:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on gas turbine components, including stationary repair, to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Generate detailed initial inspection reports for the engineering team.
- Rebuild and test products/components in accordance with OEM specification and company procedures.
- Generate detailed rebuild & test reports and final inspection reports.
- Use of specialist test rigs such as airflow, liquid fuel, compressor, hydraulic, flow divider, drive bench/pump.
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
What you will bring to the team:
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or related experience.
- Ability to read technical instructions/drawings.
