Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a dynamic FTSE250 renewable energy provider, committed to professional development and sustainability to recruit for a Marketing Campaign Lead for their facility in Norwich or Aberdeen.

The Marketing Campaign Lead comes with a salary of up to £58,000. They will be a key member of the central commercial team and part of the group shared service marketing function. This role will deliver global campaigns on priority issues to achieve strategic goals and maximize marketing ROI.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will:

  • Define the framework and portfolio structure for integrated business line campaign areas.
  • Devise and implement a comprehensive media, marketing, PR, and communications strategy, including an annual implementation plan to support all aspects of a campaign.
  • Provide long-term horizon scanning for campaigns, including identifying risks and opportunities, and managing short-term planning.
  • Plan marketing communications by setting objectives, gathering and interpreting audience insights, and selecting appropriate digital channels to drive a 'digital first' change programme.
  • Conduct research to understand audiences and the potential impact of strategic communications.
  • Own the company and business line narrative and messaging for each campaign area managed.
  • Develop, write, and deliver persuasive copy for all content produced.
  • Oversee third-party content quality, ensuring adherence to style guidelines and brand identity.
  • Develop high standards of evaluation measures to collect, analyse, and report on communications activities.
  • Report on campaign ROI and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Build and develop external alliances and relationships with decision-makers across various sectors and future partner organizations to support the mission.
  • Develop a communication plan in consultation with senior business leaders and stakeholders to promote campaign priorities and organizational change.
  • Manage the annual campaign budget with the head of marketing communications and the marketing automation strategy manager.


Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Degree, diploma, or qualification in marketing or proven relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five years of marketing or campaign management experience with a proven track record of achievement.
  • Experience in the renewables, oil and gas, or marine construction industries is desirable but not essential.
  • Expertise in devising and implementing marketing and campaign strategies for technical portfolios.
  • Hands-on experience with digital platforms (e.g., web, mobile, social media, digital advertising, SEO, CMS, and CRM).
