Quantity Surveyor – South London

Trevett Services are working with a leading south London based Construction company to source a Quantity Surveyor: £55k - £75k + package

Leading the way in New Build Social Housing and Commercial Property

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for New Build Residential (Social Housing) projects across South London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a monthly CVR by work stream demonstrating the commercial & financial position of the contract.
  • Monitor all direct costs & overheads and assist in the management of these costs to ensure profitability is maintained.
  • Procure & fully on-board subcontractors.
  • Regularly check and value subcontractors’ work, agree valuations and produce payment certificates, in accordance with sub-contract conditions.
  • Attend contract meetings, produce any specific information required for these meetings.
  • To assist Site and Project Managers in the identification and recording of variations and brief them on what is required for variations to be paid against.



About you:

  • Proven experience in a commercial capacity, working in the Social Housing sector as a principal and/or Main contractor across new build schemes.
  • Knowledge of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
  • Experience working with typical Pricing agreements & Frameworks
  • Experience Measuring Works, Generating and Agreeing applications.
  • Experience Reviewing, Validating, and approving subcontractor quotations & variations.
