DevOps Engineer

Job Details:

We are proud to announce that we have partnered with a highly-decorated company in the health care sector who are looking for a DevOps Engineer. This role requires a skilled engineer with vast cloud, development and containerisation expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee system performance through monitoring and diagnostics, ensuring system stability and up time.
• Enhance the efficiency of software delivery by creating and optimising continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) work flows.
• Partner with development teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Guide the design, development, and code review process to uphold coding standards and promote teamwork.
• Collaborate with the team to define and implement infrastructure and automation best practices, such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and IT Infrastructure.

Requirements

• Leverage SQL for efficient database management and querying, ensuring data integrity and performance for data-driven applications.
• Utilise AWS services to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless software deployment and management.
• Implement server-less architectures to reduce infrastructure overhead and improve scalability and cost efficiency, particularly for cloud-native solutions.
• Apply expertise in C# and the .NET framework to develop reliable, secure, and high-quality back-end services.
• Use Docker to containerise applications, enabling consistent environments across development and production, and simplifying deployment.
• Strong communication skills for all audiences.
• Ability to adapt and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering role.
