As a Science Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the science department, providing invaluable assistance to both teachers and students. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, organise, and maintain equipment and materials for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Assist teaching staff with the setting up and dismantling of laboratory equipment for experiments
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to, including the proper handling and disposal of chemicals
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues promptly
• Support students during practical sessions, ensuring they have the necessary materials and understand safety protocols
• Maintain an organised inventory of laboratory equipment and chemicals
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the science department as a whole

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school or laboratory environment
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and health and safety regulations
