Health & Safety Manager – Fit Out
Walsall, West Midlands HQ + Nationwide Travel
£45,000 - £50,000 MAX + Car Allowance
Information on the role
- Ensure the KPL Health & Safety Policy is applied consistently across all business and project sites.
- Visit sites to support managers with health and safety issues, compile risk assessments, and ensure subcontractors meet safety standards.
- Advise on health and safety legislation, identify training needs, and implement systems for accident and risk management
- Conduct unannounced site visits, spot checks, and regular site inspections, reporting findings to directors.
- Lead or assist in health and safety support on larger projects, attending prestart meetings, and maintaining accurate safety records.
What we’d like from you
- Proven Health & Safety Management experience in the Construction Sector ideally within Partitions / Internals / Fit Out
- NEBOSH Qualified is essential
- First Aid is essential
- CSCS Black Card is desirable
- CDM (Construction Design & Management Regulations) Knowledge & Experience
- Willingness to travel to Sites
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills
- Self-motivated personality
- Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
- Organisation and time management skills
