Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £35-40 per hour - Outside IR35 

Location: Chiswick, London

Shifts: Monday ''Friday - Flexibility needed with hours. 

Orion Electrotech are looking for enthusiastic and energetic Electrical Maintenance Engineers to test and maintain a SCADA/PLC systems for major infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in the Company's automation business maintaining and testing our tunnel automation systems, including our safety systems, in accordance with client technical and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Reactive Maintenance including call outs, fault diagnosis etc.
  • Acting as LV competent person or LV Authorised person for VSD's and LV panels.
  • NIC EIC inspections and testing.
  • Liaison with software engineers to assist with testing and fault finding.
  • You will produce clear and concise defects and site reports.

Requirements you will need as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Ability to follow and fault-find in SCADA/PLC and M&E systems.
  • Valid 18th Edition Wiring Regulation certificate 
  • Certified in Periodic inspection and Testing (C&G 2391-52 or equivalent - desirable)
  • Other electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, HNC or Degree
  • ECS level 3 or equivalent.
