Lift Supervisor/Appointed person

We are looking for a qualified and experiences Lifting Supervisor / Appointed Person for a client based in Washington, Tyne & Wear.

Overview of Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lift Planning Manager, Senior Appointed Person in the Construction industry.

• Hold Lift Planner Competencies.

• Experienced in creating lift plans and method statements.

• Experienced in AUTO CAD.

Specialised skill

Proficient in assessing loads, determining their characteristics, and planning lifting operations with precision. Proficient in analysing and managing loads, ensuring optimal weight distribution and safe rigging practices.

Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with the lifting team, ensuring a seamless and safe execution of lifting procedures.

Certification

• CPCS Blue Card - Lift Appointed Person
• CPCS Blue Card - Lift Supervisor
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations and Planning
• NVQ Level 4 in Lifting Operations (Supervision)
• Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) Certification
• Health and Safety Awareness Course
• Supervisory Skills Training

Competencies required

Demonstrates expertise in planning and coordinating lifting operations, considering factors such as load weight, equipment selection, and site-specific conditions.
