Software Tester – Temporary – Telford

L & C Consulting are recruiting with a well-known and respected Telford organisation for a new Software Tester to join them on a Temporary basis, likely till the end of October 2024. The role comes with the potential to work from as well as from the Telford office and there is also flexibility on the working hours (37.5, Mon – Fri).

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• End to end testing of new software
• Work closely with various internal teams and external developer
• Identify inconsistencies and bugs within system and provide relevant reports
• Track and manage resolutions

To be considered for this excellent opportunity in Telford, applicants MUST either have experience in a relevant position or be a recent graduate (in Computer Science or similar) and be looking to gain practical experience.

You’ll be well organised, IT literate and have good communication and customer service skills.

Hours of work are flexible, Monday – Friday, between 08:00 – 18:00 (37.5 hours per week). You will need to be available at short notice due to the temporary nature of the role.

The site is accessible on public transport from most parts of Telford, though it is also accessible from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Shifnal, Ironbridge, Newport and Telford etc
