Location: Slough (Office based position)
Salary: £28k - £32k per annum DOE


Our social housing contractor client is looking for a strong administrator to join their planned maintenance team on a retrofit project.

The role supports the team in ensuring compliance with funding and accreditation requirements, specifically related to PAS 2035/2030:2019 standards, and contributes to the Zero Carbon Solutions framework to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and validate PAS 2035/2030:2019 compliance documents for clients, energy suppliers, and accreditation bodies, ensuring timely submission.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on PAS 2030/35 standards and ensure all compliance documentation meets these standards.
  • Develop and implement a Zero Carbon Solutions compliance framework.
  • Offer technical guidance on environmental and Zero Carbon Solutions, working with various departments to support external funding opportunities.
  • Support client engagement strategies and assist in creating Zero Carbon reduction roadmaps.
  • Uphold SHE policy/strategy, ensuring high safety and health standards.
  • Manage compliance documentation related to energy efficiency installations.
  • Collaborate with Retrofit Coordinators and Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Advise regional teams on energy efficiency measures and ensure zero compliance failures.
  • Understand & apply the range of current and proposed UK Zero Carbon Solutions related legislation to project solutions e.g., Building Regulations Part L, SAP, RDSAP, Local Planning Policy, proposals etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of the sector and assist in funding management (e.g., ECO4, PSDS, SHDF SALIX).
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders and report on Carbon Impact.
  • Produce statistical reports on Fuel Poverty and assist in energy-efficient program implementation.
  • Stay updated on Zero Carbon Solutions and environmental management innovations.
  • Attend meetings and engage with clients as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Environmental/Zero Carbon Solutions is desirable
  • Experience working in social housing and planned maintnenance is essential
  • Ability to balance environmental goals with business objectives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and flexibility under pressure.
  • strong administrative qualities
