Role Overview:

As the HR & Payroll Systems Analyst, you will be pivotal in optimising the HR and payroll systems (namely iTrent), focusing on project execution, database enhancement, data accuracy, and dashboard development.

You will work closely with the HR team to boost reporting capabilities, refine metrics, and enhance analytics, especially following the deployment of new systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management and Integrity:

  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of HR data within the HRIS.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.

HRIS Administration:

  • Manage daily operations of the iTrent system, ensuring alignment with HR department needs.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to support system upgrades, configurations, and new implementations.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyse HR data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform HR strategies and decisions.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards.
  • Provide analysis for pay gap reporting and other requirements.
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to the Head of HR Operations and other stakeholders, including budget analysis and headcount reporting to aid in financial and workforce planning.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure HR data practices adhere to data protection regulations and company policies.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard sensitive HR information.

Project Management:

  • Lead or participate in HR technology projects, including system implementations and upgrades.
  • Oversee project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication to achieve successful outcomes.

Payroll Processing and Review:

  • Input and verify payroll data in the iTrent system, addressing discrepancies as they arise.
  • Prepare payroll data and documentation for review by the Senior HR Advisor.
  • Collaborate with external vendors on global mobility payroll, taxes, and compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of P11D forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Annual Compensation Cycle Support:

  • Support the preparation and execution of the annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews, bonus distributions, and equity grants.
  • Work with HR leadership to ensure compensation decisions are data-driven and well-supported.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Essential: Knowledge of iTrent HR and Payroll software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel.
  • Capability to interpret business needs and identify suitable data sources for analysis.
  • Experience in developing reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present information clearly to various audiences.
