Elevation Skilled Shop Floor are excited to be working with a fantastic, global business based in the Goole area as they look for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join their team on a 6 month temporary basis.
Working Hours: 7.30am - 3.30pm
Hourly Rate: £11.44 p/h
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Food preparation to support production of menu items
- Sandwich and salad preparation
- Counter preparation for service
- Serving customers as required
- Ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed at all times
- Ensure Health and safety, food safety and COSHH legislation is adhered to at all times
- Report all safety issues
- Ensure the kitchen and storage areas clean and tidy
- Delivery services across site as required
- Pot washing and deep cleans
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in catering
- A good working knowledge of health and safety with safety as a value
- Good communication skills
- Excellent team player
- ‘Can do’ attitude
- Full driving license
- Level 2 Food Safety qualification preferred.
