The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils aged 13 - 17 with the curriculum, aiding their development into further education. The role will involve mitigating challenging behaviour, hence strong behaviour management experience is essential. Preferable experience within a SEMH or an SEN environment would be ideal.

The School – SEMH Teaching Assistant

This SEMH School is based in Kensington & Chelsea, with close transport links to the Hammersmith & City, and the Circle line. This is a small, independent SEMH School that caters to a total of 25 pupils, taught in small sized classes. Most of the pupils have complex SEMH needs, the school helps to teach essential life skills to help students reintegrate into mainstream schools.
