An outstanding nursery in London is seeking a motivated and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join their friendly team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5, ensuring a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment.
- Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate activities that encourage children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress through regular observations and keep detailed records of their learning journey.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring open communication and trust.
- Provide key person support, tailoring care and education plans to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Promote and uphold safeguarding, health, and safety policies to ensure a secure and inclusive setting.
- Collaborate with the nursery team to maintain high standards and continuously improve the learning environment.
- Support children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development through play and structured activities.
- Attend regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and the ability to implement it in practice.
- Ability to plan and lead engaging learning activities, fostering children’s development and curiosity.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team and build relationships with parents.
- A caring, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- Paediatric First Aid certification (required).
