Biomass Service Engineer – Overview

We are currently working with an industry leading Renewable Energy and M&E contractor who specialise in the design, supply and installation of a wide range of Off-site Prefabricated solutions for the commercial M&E sectors throughout Ireland and UK. They are currently seeking a Biomass Service Engineer to join the team in the Scotland region carrying out service and maintenance work for their existing installations of Biomass boilers ranging in size from 300KW- 1.5MW. They can offer training on bigger units if you haven’t worked on systems this size before. 

The company specialise in decarbonizing commercial and industrial buildings such as Hospitals, Universities, Factories, Care Homes and many more as well as maintaining some domestic systems as well for local councils. They are looking for an engineer with previous biomass experience and the ability to carry out service, maintenance, and repair tasks on completed biomass boiler projects. An in-depth knowledge of the Plumbing and Heating industry and experience with Herz Biomass Boiler range would be a distinct advantage to the applicant; however product specific training shall be provided for the successful applicant.  

This is a mobile role so a Full UK Licence is required. There may be the occasional night away however there will be additional pay, expenses and bonuses to cover these if they do arise and you will be given plenty of notice if so!

Biomass Service Engineer – Requirements

  • Relevant Biomass Experience preferably HERZ on systems from 300Kw – 1.5Mw
  • Previous experience in Commercial M&E Trade  
  • Full and Clean Driving License
