The School and Role

This small provision that caters to children from age 3-16, based in Leeds are looking to appoint a passionate Behaviour Support Worker to work in a small class. Working in this provision as part of an established team, the desired Behaviour Support Worker will be working on a small group basis with pupils with SEMH needs and working alongside the other members of staff to promote good attendance and educational values . This behaviour Support Worker role is potentially permanent. The suitable candidates will have the opportunity to be enrolled onto out Team Teach training course.

Requirements

The desired Behaviour Support Worker will have;

  • Experience of working with secondary aged children with SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Experience of working 1:1 with pupils or small groups
  • A passion for the progress of children with SEMH and previous experience with dysregulation techniques.
  • An ability to work well as part of a team and have professional values
