Job Title: Temporary English Teacher

Job Description: We are looking for a qualified and passionate English teacher to support a Herefordshire school on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students across various year groups. No planning or preparation is required, as all lesson plans and materials will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the provided curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English at secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
