CNC Setter/Operator

Late Shift:- (Monday to Thursday 3pm to midnight and Friday midday to 5pm)
Duties and responsibilities:-
- Current working knowledge of CNC milling and Turning
- Preparing (setting) of a wide range of Fanuc controlled CNC milling and turning machinery quickly, accurately, and efficiently to produce a wide range of component parts ranging from basic to complex for low batch high mix production runs.
- Basic creation or editing of CNC programs using G & M code instruction.
- Operate machines to produce production runs of parts in accordance with a daily production plan.
- Self-Inspection of repeat work using the appropriate inspection equipment.
- Perform regular Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on the machinery.
- Advise Team Lead and production engineering team of production issues and defects.
- Supporting the Business in the implementation of Continuous Improvement to increase production.
