Driver (26T) Shaftesbury

Barker Ross are seeking a reliable 26T (CLASS 2) Driver.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste to various locations. This position requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.

Responsibilities/What you can expect.

  • Pay £12.39 per hour.
  • Standard working pattern: 06:00 - 13:30 (13:00 Friday)
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Bank holiday working could be a requirement (1.5x pay increase) Requirements:
  • To be considered for this post you must hold a minimum Category C (26T) CLASS 2 driving licence, have a current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical demands of the job.
  • High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness
  • PPE Mid-sole safety shoes
  • To conform with strict health and safety requirements, the role is subject to random and regular drug testing.

Please note: it is expected the hours of work will be 37 hours however, this role is advertised as a temporary position and not guaranteed.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm.

Pay: £12.39 per hour.
